Programme Overview Classroom theory in Introduction to the Radio Regulations, Safety of Life at Sea, Procedures, Equipment Carried, Documents Carried.
Practical theory & instruction on Very High Frequency (VHF), MF,HF, DSC, INMARSAT Navigation Telex (NAVTEX), Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBS) and Search and Rescue Transponder (SARTs), batteries, Aerials logsheets.
